Sunset Boulevard near Between Allenford and Chautauqua Drive
Sunset Blvd becomes almost hypnotic in that approx two mile stretch. Lots of places for the police to "hide" along the route. Really watch your speeding. There have been some terrible accidents along that section of Sunset so the patrols are not without reason.
Palisades Drive near Sunset Boulevard
Going downhill Palisades Drive there is a School/Church on the right where the speed goes to 25 mph. There is a police care waiting in the driveway for cars zooming by faster than the posted limit.
Sunset Boulevard
Police cars wait on Minorca and Napoli Drives, which are between Capri and Amalfi Drives. This is the stretch of Sunset that runs thru the Palisades Riviera. Motorcycles also wait in private drives along Sunset Blvd. between Minorca and Napoli. The posted limit is 35 mph. Both motorcycle and patrol car police will will hide on the North side of Sunset. They get cars going both ways with radar.
