Fassler Avenue near Between Terra nova Blvd and Rogers Road

Pacifica, CaliforniaAug 10, 20080 Comments

Officer in patrol car parks on uphill, eatbound lane in various locations between Terra Nova Blvd. and Rogers Road, especially where the hill drops more severely. Officer shoots radar at westbound, downhill traffic going towards route 1.

Also, an officer on motorcycle used to hangout at the intersection of Fassler and Terra Nova. He would sit on the westbound side of Fassler, east of Terra Noa opn the dead-end side of Fassler. He would jump on rolling-stops. Haven’t seen the cycle cop in a awhile however.

Hickey Boulevard near Gateway Drive

4 way intersection. You must come to a complete stop here or you get a ticket. I’ve watched over 40 cars get a ticket on one Saturday. Rookie police officers are aggressive to hand out tickets. They come from 5 miles away off coast highway just to get revenue for pacifica here at this intersection.

Pacifica PD/CHP car sits on the northbound onramp just after Paloma and Oceana.

Sharp Park Road near Gypsy Hill Road

Pacifica, CaliforniaAug 13, 20070 Comments

Often the PD will set up just off Sharp Park Rd on Gypsy Hill Rd, where traffic is going downhill. Sometimes they set up a bit further downhill in a turnout. Traffic may travel 10-15 MPH above the posted limit of 25-35 MPH (depending on what part of Sharp Park).
