Indian Canyon and Alejo Road

Palm Springs, CaliforniaDec 30, 20101 Comments

Traveling south on Indian, there is a 4- way stoplight with a sign reading No Turn On Red light. It’s rather small, and an officer on a motorbike sits in the parking lot of Frances Stevens Park right there and gives hefty fines to those who make what they think is a legal right hand turn on red light. Fine is $222.00, and the Superior Court Judge will NOT reduce it, only give you more time to pay it. Watch out!

Toledo Road near Sunrise Road

Palm Springs, CaliforniaDec 01, 20071 Comments

Take Sunrise south. Once you pass the signal at 111 continue past smoke tree at the second left turn is Toledo. Myself, as well as 4 of my friends plus my mom and moms best friend have all received speeding tickets from motorcycle officers hiding in driveways. Usually 7-10 am and 12-3 pm. Recently upped speed limit to 50 however 2 lanes in each direction can easily get you up to 60-65.
