Patterson, California Speed Traps
If your coming from Sperry .. and go onto South 1st street passing the train tracks The cop usually parks at the end of the road by the traffic light on Las Palmas ave. No sign at the beginning of the road, its towards the end. Limit is 25mph
I was caught on a speed a couple years ago on ward ave in between Patterson High going toward Highway 33. There is usually some sheriff deputies hanging around there and near Ward and Calvison Parkway. That’s another speed trap.
This is a two-lane road that a lot of trucks and tourists use. The speed limit is 35mph at one point and reduces to 25mph. One sign posted, so if you miss it, you’re bound to get a ticket. Officers busy at end of each month.
Police like to hide along side the road behind the embankment and radar you as you pass -This conceals their vehicle until it is too late.. avg speed on the road is approximately 70 since it is not traveled very heavily
