Like highway 80 there are police posted at intervals indicating use of radar and an airplane for sporatic highly intense enforcement during weekends and week day afternoons. These appear to be zero tolerance sweeps that can stretch all the way to Sly Park almost fifty miles away. The group moves up and down the highway.

I work at AeroJet and when I go to lunch, we drive out to Hazel Ave. There at 12 noon almost every day is three White CHP Camero’s on the US 50 East onramp waiting for speeders in the CARPOOL LANE. Sometimes they will use black and whites and motorcycles also. They use the place that circles above. If you sit in the spagetti factory parking lot, you can sit and eat lunch, while watching them work. One last thing, if you are speeding, you won’t see them on the onramp, because they are parked just enough up the ramp, where you can’t see them till it is too late.
