Do the speed limit on Arrow Rte btwn Rochester and Haven. Cops sit there at nite, SL is 50 but most people do 65. My friend has been stopped twice there. Also there’s photo cameras now around town.

Hermosa Street near Foothill Boulevard

Rancho Cucamonga, CaliforniaJul 20, 20070 Comments

Heading south bound on Hermosa, from Church St. the police officers are off of, our out of their vehicles. There are generally 6 – 8 officers and two laser units being used. They hide behind the block wall & aim north bound on Hermosa from Estacia st. Estacia is the first street north of Foothill blvd. One laser unit will tag you while the others write the tickets. They have you tagged by the time you hit Hemlock street so be careful.

The police car is parked in the driveway of a warehouse area. Because the car is white, it blends in with the colors of the nearby buildings. It’s situated on the southeast corner of 8th and Hellman, close to a storage place.

Arrow Route Street near Interstate 15 Crossing

Rancho Cucamonga, CaliforniaMay 15, 20070 Comments

Westbound on Arrow Route approaching the underpass for the 15 Freeway, Rancho Cucamonga bike cops sit with radar in the driveway of a large distribution center on the right. I believe posted speed is 45 mph. Many travel well over 10 mph faster and are caught and ticketed. I was stopped, but only given a warning due to another call on the police scanner. Whew!
