2 CHP Motorcycle officers patrol Hermosa ave. most times of the day. The speed limit is 40mph. They stop quite a lot of people there. You will find them from the bottom of hermosa (at 4th) commonly in the office building exits all the way up far north of foothill patroling.

E/B Foothill Blvd (Rte 66) between Grove and Vineyard

Right after the April time change, when the sun is directly in your eyes between 0630 and 0800, motorcycle officers park in a stand of trees at the Baker Avenue curve (just after the overhead train trestle). A traffic signal was put in at Baker about three years ago, and is invisible until you are right on top of it. The police know this and exploit it. The real problem is the speed limit drops from 50 to 40 right at this point.
