Southbound I-5 just before the Bonnyview onramp, a CHP is parked in plain view on the shoulder. The officer has been seen standing next to his car or cycle facing traffic aiming the radar gun at passing traffic. The enforced speed limit changes from 65 to 70 about a quarter mile past this location.

Police park their car facing west so when you are drving east (from Holiday Market) and you come over the hill, they are parked behind a giant bush and they have you on radar. Evidently it’s a high complaint area so they are covering it often.

Pine Grove Avenue near Ashby Road

South of Shasta College the Speed Limit is 45, It seems that 50 would be the maxor even more. There are CHP’s hiding behind the brush or down in the culverts along the road. Beware.

Interstate I-5 near US Highway 44

Speed limit is dropped south of Redding, and is moderatly enforced between Hwy 44, north to the Shasta Lake Bridge crossing.
