Sacramento, California Speed Traps
Speed limit is 35 mph. Tickets are a sure thing here. The CHP sits in a driveway of any one of the business and just watches you fly by. Be careful!
A bike cop hides between the end of the concrete wall and the slope of the hill and patrols traffic going towards Fair Oaks. On the other side, a CHP sits in a small turnout, patrolling traffic going towards Rancho Cordova.
If you get off Capital City Freeway headed east towards Del Paso Blvd as soon as you go over the railroad tracks and head down hill you will see motercycle pd. on your right and left every day rush hour morning and night!
Motorcycle officer often hangs out near light rail tracks at the intersection of 21st and 3rd Avenue (behind cleaners) in order to pop northbound traffic. There is a little hill right before the location, so people speed on 21st street and cannot see where the officer is parked.
1-2 Motorcycle cops will sometimes wait on the eastbound side of Folsom Blvd. on 54th or 53rd street just before the Autozone. Time of day varies, but I have most often someone there on weekends in the afternoon.
