SDPD motorcycle and vehicle officers usingstand in the shadows of the trees and are hard to see as you are travelling downhill southbound on Genesee across from University City High School, just north of Govenor Drive. They sometimes even watch for people not obeying the 25mph school zone limit at the pertinent times of days.

Going North on I 5 there is a place where CHP’s can sit off the road & watch ALL NB traffic on 5 and not be seen. You are not able to see them due to the 52 E/W junctions. It is just after 5/52 East and just before 5/52 West junction.

When you are heading south on Murphy Canyon Rd, just as you pass the Chargers, you’ll see an officer on motorcycle. After you go under Balboa and its slightly down hill. Speed limit is 50mph. It’s very easy to find yourself doing 60+. BE CAREFULL!!

6th Avenue between I-5 and Juniper

Two to three motorcycle officers behind parked cars, normally working southbound traffic, but I have seen northbound worked also. I walk in Balboa Park daily and have often seen them near the church at Fir st. Have also seen them during the morning rush hour. I take this route to work and have to ride my brakes all the way down the hill to maintain my speed at a little above the posted 30mph.
