Motorcycle cop is usually at the 7-eleven or in the parking lot behind the Shell gas station a cruiser is present. You might also see him/her at parking lot of the Bank across the street from the gas station they are always shooting radar. Present around 7am-8:30am and 11:30am-1pm

Right hand turn – only during a green light!!!!! There is a no right hand turn sign posted. However, I know of several people who have been ticketed for turning when there is no oncoming traffic during a red light. BEWARE!!

The green and yellow light duration is very brief, not long enough for a long slow vehicle to clear the intersection. The officer even admitted it, so the only choice for long slow moving vehicles is not drive through the intersection on Mira Mesa Blvd.

A motor CHP sits just off the right shoulder. By the time you come around the wide sweeping curve and pass the 8 Fwy. it’s too late.

I have seen motors and cruisers in both directions in/or around almost every exit off this fwy. Not only are they under the overpasses in the shadows, in the center divider among the bushes, but sometimes they wait at the top of the overpasses and watch you “fly” by. Then they down come and get you.
