San Gabriel, California Speed Traps

(2) CHP Officer hides in Valero gas station . It is the same CHP officer that hides on New Ave. Be very careful there has been 2 CHP at the same time constantly giving tickets.

Motorcycle officer/CHP is parked in Motel driveway with radar gun. Motel is located on East side of San Gabriel Blvd. just next to Carl’s Jr.

CHP officer facing south on New Ave. He is in center divider pretending to make a left hand turn, but is just on bike. He will then make a U-turn and get cars going north/south on New Ave. Has been seen in the A.M. hours during the week and between 11-12 on weekends. Be very careful because he does not use radar ,but will show you radar reading. Has been seen pull over cars and no radar gun has been seen. He will show the drivers the radar gun. He may not re-set radar. Be very careful please!!!! (San Gabriel/Rosemead Area)

On N. San Gabriel Blvd. at Beverly Dr., northbound, on the right hand side, large white church’s parking lot. Most of the time parking lot is empty during the week – motorcycle cop sits back in the parking lot or in the driveway with a radar gun.

After school lets out around 2:45 to 3 pm, a motorcycle officer hides underneath a tree on the sidewalk. You can’t see him because the tree provides shade for him. When you pass Burton Ave on Broadway heading westbound, there are parking lines near the sidewalk and a tree with shade. Thats where he hides.
