Alvin Avenue near Tully Road
Multiple CHP motorcyclists will be stationed at the intersection of Alvin Avenue and Burdette Drive. They sometimes check for complete stops at the stop sign from Burdette turning right onto Alvin (towards the Hillview post office).
Bernal Road near San Ignacio Avenue
A few times a month I see a few motorcycle cops camped out in the driveway of the Jack in the Box right on the corner of Bernal and San Ignacio. You are coming down an overpass with a slight curve to the left, They see you as soon as you crest the hill, and by the time you finish the curve you see them on the sidewalk with radar gin in hand. I’ve seen as many as four cars lined up on the curb before getting tickets all at once.
Interstate I-280 Southbound near Interstate I-880
CHP sits on the shoulder just after the pedestrian overcrossing near where I-880 crosses over I-280 with RADAR gun.
US Highway 85 near State Highway 87
Highway Patrol car sits on the right side of Hwy. 85 right before the ramp to NB 87. He sits in the corner of the sound wall where it cuts off at the 87 ramp backed all the way in. I got caught doing 89 getting onto 87, the only way to see him is looking as you pass or through the mirror, but then its too late.
Bird Avenue near Coe Avenue
3-4 Motorcycle cops on right side of sidewalk heading southbound on Bird. The have been there each monday since Feb.22,2008
