The trap is right in front of Mitty Highschool. The speedlimit is 25 all the time.. not just during school hours.

This entry applies to northbound Almaden expressway traffic. This speed trap is located between Camden avenue and Redmond. SJPD uses radar motorcycle officers with instant-on radar to nab unsuspecting motorists. I’ve seen them there during various hours of the day, but mostly around 12 noon to 2pm.

This applies to northbound Almaden expressway traffic. SJPD motorcycle radar cops sit here, just before the turn off for eastbound Capitol expressway, near the spa dealer and Capitol Toyota car dealership and work instant-on radar. I’ve seen them here at all hours of the day and night.

Motorcycle officer parks near a small cement island, waiting to catch speeding vehicles that are travelling southbound on Almaden expressway. People leaving SB Hy 87 often don’t slow down from freeway speeds and are easy prey. The SJPD officers I’ve seen use instant-on radar, so be very careful in this area.

I can’t believe no one has posted this street, the posted speed limit is 35 on a four lane street, everyone i know including myself has gotten a speeding ticket there. There are ALWAYS cops sitting on this corner pulling people over coming from Saratoga (westgate mall). On bike cop scans with radar and on or two cops just stand in the road pulling people over, ive seen four at at time. Especially watch out at the end of the month when they’re out here for their quota!
