US Highway 101 S. bound near Marin Civic Ctr Exit
up hill south 101 hwy near Civic Cntr exit approaching San Rafael speed limit changes from 65 to 55 then goes down hill. Many people go well above the limit 75+ at times. It is hard to see speed limit sign because of multiple lanes volume of traffic and changes to road conditions, up hill, down hill, entrance and exit at starting, peak, and bottom of hill, then sharp left turn entrance from San Rafael and exit to 580 at bottom of hill. There has been many accidents there.

Motocycle police sit behind the fence to the left of the exit. Since the exit goes downhill and straight through town, the police are probably catching people going freeway speeds into town or running that red light.
