Interstate 580 Northbound near Sir Francis Drake exit
I have seen many CHP hiding on the on ramp sections of 580 right after you get off of the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge. Have also seen them hiding under neath the overpass when the road curves right and there is a blind turn…about .5 mi after bridge, northbound. That section between the bridge and the 101 interchange is a 50 or 55 mph section even though it can easily be a 65. Beware of hiding CHP at night.

San Rafael cop will sit in car facing westbound traffic on wrong side of road in the exit lane to Las Pavadas. This forces him to drive either backwards off that exit or against traffic on the wrong side of the road till he can do a "U" turn to chase you. This kind of driving would get you or me a wreckless driving ticket, and anyone getting one here should fight it.
