San Ramon, California Speed Traps
San Ramon Valley Boulevard near Marsh Road
North-bound and South-bound San Ramon Valley Boulevard between Marsh Road and Bollinger. Motorcycle cops like to sit in the Marriot Hotel Parking lot and aim radar at unsuspecting vehicles driving the curve going North on San Ramon Valley Boulevard. For South-bound traffic, try to remain at the posted limit of 40mph because the motorcycle cops are perched on the right-side just inside the road turn-ins. You are still not clear even if you pass the church on the right. Be warned.
Alcosta Boulevard near Burn Tree Drive
Local law Enforcement is out usually during the day time. They hide behind parked cars on the road side near the Burning Tree Drive intersection.
Bollinger Canyon Road near Old Dougherty Road
Typically work week afternoons. Multiple Motorcycle officers waiting with 1 radar gun pointed towards dublin for traffic heading into san ramon. They are located just before the school on East Branch and just behind the Traffic light at Old Dougherty Road. It is heavily enforced and in two weeks I have only seen them not there once
Bollinger Canyon Road near Crow Canyon Road
Radar police working in pairs on Bollinger Canyon Road between Crow Canyon Road and Norris Canyon Road, especially along the cross-walks to Twin Creeks Elementary School. Speed limit is posted 30 but feels very slow.
Interstate 680 South/North near Alcosta Boulevard
CHP’s favorite ramp in the area. Check your mirrors or better yet, make sure the V1 or Escort aren’t beeping.
