Lilac Street near Harbor Boulevard

Santa Ana, CaliforniaAug 31, 20071 Comments

Eastbound Lilac just West of Harbor Blvd, there is an officer sitting just beyond the brick wall that enters the apartments on the North side, near the stop sign. He pulled me over twice and ticketed me once for going 35mph in a 25mph zone. This is a cut through street to go from Edinger to Harbor and is never busy anytime of day. The posted speed limit is totally ridiculous and should be at least 35 pmh. Both times I was pulled over, it was at months end – go figure!

State Highway 5 Fwy near Euclid Street

I got two speeding tickets going South on the 5 Fwy and Euclid Ave in 3 years. I try to avoid the freeway or go below 80mph. Driver’s beware.

Grand Avenue near McFadden Street

Near the High School on Grand Ave (between McFadden & Edinger) there is a motorcycle cop looking for speeders. He hides on the side street (on the right hand side) right after the crossing/light to the high school.
