Santa Rosa, California Speed Traps

There are regularly multiple motorcyle and marked car officers fairly concealed on the southbound and northbound lanes of marlow just north of Steele. I drive this every day and have seen them at least twice a week in not more usually 2 or sometimes 3 officers at a time.

This is a highly traveled road and motorcycle cops sit in driveways with radar all day long.

The officers check both Eastbound and Westbound traffic for speeders using radar guns. They sometimes sit up towards Riebli Road,as well as down further towards Old Redwood Highway.

Permanently installed speed posts that flash each cars speed as you pass them. Several on sharp downslopes at 35 MPH very unrealistic. Police cars waiting beyond speed posts for violations over 35MPH. Very unrealistic speed limits for sharp downsloping road.

a block north of Guerneville Rd m/c officers routinely hang out in the driveway of my office bldg under some trees and nail folks with radar going both directions.
