State Highway 125 near Navajo Road
Motorcycle and CHP units patrol corridor between Mission Gorge and Fletcher Pkwy. Navajo Road is a great hiding spot for the radar units.
Mission Gorge Road near West end Sam Diego city limit
7400 mission gorge road. Motorcycle deputies frequently sit on the south side of the street watching eastbound cars from San Diego enter the Santee City Limits. Its 55 but don’t dare travel over 70. Laser is used and accurate from the time you crest the hill.
Magnolia Avenue near San Diego river
Motorcycle sheriffs use radar guns as you go over the river, which hides them because its higher. Speed limit is 45 and its safe to do 55. The road is straight and two lanes in each direction.
Mast Boulevard near Interstate 52
Usually during the weekday mornings on Mast Blvd between Magnolia Ave and all the way to Inter. 52 there are both CHP that sometimes are literally parked in peoples driveways clocking traffic. Most especailly homes between Cuyamaca and Carlton Oaks. There are also police outside of there cars w/radars standing between cars. So beware!
Second Street near Caretta Street
During the weekday mornings when taking my daughter to Santana HS I would say every week there are police outside of there police cars w/radars. They are usually between cars on Carreta and also CHP are on Second St. w/radars. The CHP are usually standing outside the school near the entry to the back parking lot.
