Saratoga Avenue near Fruitvale Avenue
Leaving west Valley community college down Fruitvale towards Saratoga Ave, when you turn right, thats a NO TURN ON RED. Saratoga Sheriff is often sitting next street down waiting. He is officer Steve. Beware he is mean. He is there between mon-thurs. around 12-3. He is there almost every day of the week lookin’ for students rushin’ home.
Saratoga Avenue near Bucknall Road
The police sit in the driveway of the Chardonnay Estates condos just prior to the Valero Gas Station on the corner of Bucknall Road and Saratoga Avenue. Drivers are usually exceeding the 40 mph limit as they leave Cox Avenue and proceed toward the Lawrence Expressway entrance.
Allendale Avenue near Quito Road
East From Quito on Allendale, the sheriff waits at the bottom of the creek area with radar, waiting for West Valley College students racing to a late class in the morning. Usually 1 or 2 drivers get picked off heading west and then the radar leaves. It’s been happening for years, but not as bad as Cox Avenue heading east from Paseo Presada.

3. In the village proper, do not fail to fully stop for pedestrians. The cops are big on this one because of injuries to pedestrians.
