Sherman Oaks, California Speed Traps
On Sepulveda a couple of blocks south of Burbank
Two motor cycle cops both with radar guns park on the west side of the street
Sepulved Blvd. Between Magnolia Blvd and Morrison St.
There is a traffic cop that is pulled back where the fire station is on Ventura Blvd. He has a Radar device, he has been there on daily basis for over a month now. He just sits and waits for you. People bypass the interchange to get to the 405 Fwy entrance on Valley Vista or Ventura Blvd. I take that route everyday, I have seen someone pulled over and the officer writing a ticket on a daily basis. Drivers beware, no mercy, no excuses!
Scadlock Lane (in the hills)
The entire length of this street is a speed trap since it is a short cut to bypass the 405. They are often toward the top of the hill and pop the trunk up to hide the roof lights. Usually present during rush hours.
Woodley Ave. near Burbank Blvd.
Woodley (going south) dead ends at Burbank in the Sepulveda Basin. Speed limits are higher than norm but cars go even faster. As you round a blind curve on Woodley just before Burbank Blvd, there is frequently a motor cop with someone pulled over. Can’t see him until too late!
Going south on Coldwater Canyon at Burbank Blvd.
South on Coldwater Canyon from Victory Blvd. just before Burbank Blvd. about 200′ before the Burbank Blvd. light / cameras.
