Two moto officers sit behind the cashier’s hut at the gas station watching for motorists who turn right from Van Nuys (southbound) to Moorpark (eastbound). There is a sign prohibiting right turns (even on a green light) M-F between 7-10am, but I see the officers writing tickets every morning.

There are usually 2 motercycle police and they take turns on which side of the street they stay on. Usually I see them on the west side under the trees.

They come for several weeks at a time so you don’t know exactly when they’ll be there.

Beware of Motorcycle LAPD waiting in the driveway of the Sunkist Building. They are looking for speeders on Riverside Drive in both directions between Van Nuys Blvd. and Hazeltine.

Kester Ave. at Camarillo

A motorcycle cop likes to post up on the east side of the street, just south of the 101 highway overpass, by the three-way traffic light. He usually parks in between some parked cars, so he can be hard to spot, especially around the morning sun’s glare and the shadows cast by the freeway overpass. He’s usually there up until 9ish, but I’ve seen him (and been caught by him) as late as 10:30am. The speed limit is 35, prevailing traffic is around 45.
