Broadway Street near Napa to Patten Street
On Broadway from when you turn by the city hall on Napa down to the Shell Station off of Patten Street, the speed limit is 25 MPH. Cops will stop you if you’re going over 30. And since the Shell Station is right across from the police station, there are always cops around.
Broadway Street near Napa Road
At the intersection of Broadway and Napa Road, the posted speed limit is 35MPH, and there are often cops in the Broadway Market parking lot or in the auto shop across the street from Broadway Market’s parking lot. Late at night is when there are usually cops there, and it’s a straight road that’s really long so most people don’t go the speed limit.
State Highway Hwy 1 near Bloomfield Road
No traffic, hiding behind trees or tree shadow. Easy picken for the casual ticket explotation. The lastest lidar.
Madrone Road near State Route 12
Off Hwy 12, Madrone Rd. is posted 40mph. The road makes a slight turn and quickly goes to 25mph (posted) The CHP stand off the blind side of the curve and use the radar gun , on foot, and wave you over to stop. While the 25mph zone is probably correct (homes and apts.) the usual posting is 40 so this short 2 block posting is an easy trap. 41 in a 25= $116.00.
Arnold Drive near Sonoma Develomental Center
This quiet area on Arnold Drive is swaming with bored cops. Don’t go over 25 and make sure you make full stops too.
