Northbound lanes. Motorcycle with radar will sit in the 7-11 parking lot and get the ones who cross the double-yellow line into 7-11 or sit just past the intersection in a driveway to get speeders. The speedlimit does not go up until AFTER you cross highway 101. There is no pattern to when he is there.

Northbound just past Arques sitting in the driveway of the Chinese Fast Food is a motorcycle with radar. The posted speed is 30 all along Fair Oaks and average traffic flow is 40. It is random when they will be there. Last seen beginning of September 2007.

Central Expressway near Lawrence Expressway

Eastbound Central Expwy between Fair Oaks Ave and Oakmead, motorcycle cop sits on side of road, usually during lunch hour. His location changes, but usually he is between these two points. Speed limit is 50, but traffic is always faster. Be especially careful when driving over the Lawrence Expwy overpass, as they sometimes sit on the other side, and you cannot see them until it is too late. Typically they use either Lidar or POP radar.

State Highway 237 near Fair Oaks Avenue

Twice in 1 week then again a month later, saw a CHP officer on motorcycle around noontime checking speeds for 237 Westbound, he sits under the Fair Oaks Avenue overpass and is hard to see in the shade.

Lakeside Drive near Midas Way

Motorcycle cop is hidden in driveway on corner of Lakeside Dr & Midas Way. He is running low power K-Band radar, and is targeting traffic in both directions on Lakeside. Speed limit is 25 MPH, and is easily exceeded by most traffic. Enforcement is usually during the lunch hour. Be careful here!
