Temple City, California Speed Traps
Motorcycle cop hides in a small alley across from the school waiting for people to not drop their speed as they enter the school zone.
Motorcycle cops sit and wait at the 45 to 30 mph speed limit transition (heading west) right after the school by Holly/las Tunas. They sit in the driveways of private houses on Las Tunas with Radars.
There is only a sign posted west of Baldwin.
Where the first change begins, who knows. But it’s somewhere east of Baldwin.
They love to ticket people on Las Tunas.
West of Rosemad on Las Tunas is another speed trap. That 30 mph transmission is tricky.
The speed limit going pass Lower Azusa on Encinita is around 30-35 mph. When you get close to the bridge, it changes to "25 mph". Before the "25" sign, there is usually a cop hiding next to a building using his radar. After the bridge, the limit changes back to 20-25mph. Just be careful when you go on this portion of Encinita; pay attention to the speed limit signs.
If your driving Westbound on Longden in Arcadia speed limit is 35mph.
turn left southbond on Holly Ave no posted speed limit.
They will sit just far enough down the street so you can get up
to speed above 30 Mph.
Usually a L.A. County Sheriff will sit in his cruiser near or between parked cars facing north on El Monte Ave. He is looking for people speeding and/or running the last stop sign southbound on El Monte before you reach Lower Azusa Rd.
