Motorcycle police sit on Citation Way and watch for vehicles driving North on Hillcrest. There is a slight hill you come over and when you come over they are sitting aiming there radar guns on you. Sometimes they sit in the center divider too.
Hillcrest Drive near Ventu Park
Motorcycle police sit in the median just before a curve going westbound between Lynn Road and Ventu Park on Hillcrest Drive. This is heavily trafficked in AM due to Amgen employees going to work.
Moorpark Road near East Avenida de los Flores
Most people who live in the area are unaware of the school zone sign (25 mph when children are present) on both the RH side and the divider on Moorpark Rd in each direction. That street has 45 mph posted and drivers are accustomed to jetting through. The sheriffs often lurk when school starts and ends. This school zone speed limit is a good thing but it’s easy to block out the sign.
