Thousand Oaks Boulevard near Oakview Street

3 Motorcycle cops + 2 Patrol Cars will sit in plain view in the parking lot near the intersection. Other plain clothes police officers will cross back and forth across the street on foot at the crosswalk. They will hand out 15-30 tickets in an hour. They bust you for speeding and for not waiting for the person to cross the street. they will also post when they are going to do it in the local newspaper. Amazingly they still hand out tickets like candy.

Usually Ventura County Sheriff on motorcycle, but Thousand Oaks Police patrol-cars observed here too. Patrols park on both sides of Hillcrest. Patrol parks on North side of road with radar pointed West to trap West-bound traffic. Patrol parks on South side of road with radar pointed West to trap East-bound traffic. Prima facie speed (speed posted on signs and painted on street) is 45 mph West of Hodencamp Road and is 40 mph East of Hodencamp Road.
