223rd Street near Between Vermont & Western Avenues
This speed trap is located 223rd Street between Western Avenue & Normandie Avenue. Speed limit is 35 mph. Drivers staying under 44 mph were not pulled over when a LAPD motorcycle officer is presesnt. A bike officer usually awaits behind one of the SUVs parked along 223rd street heading east or west bound. Highest time of enforcements are during AM & Evening rush.
Plaza Del Amo Street near Maple Street
On Plaza Del Amo between Maple Ave and Crenshaw Blvd, motorcycle cops hide in the townhome entrance driveways catching speeders. Mostly late at night and during evening rush hours.
Prairie Avenue near 165th Street
Motorcycle officers hide in both entrances to Alondra Golf Course catching both north and south bound traffic. Speed limit is 40 MPH normal speed for traffic is 50 MPH.
Del Amo Boulevard near Honda and Toyota Headquarters
Look out for traffic cops on motorcycles in this area, they are sneaky. They hide out on the entire street of Del Amo Blvd, and also on Van Ness Blvd. Guaranteed you will never see them. They are in the vicinity of Toyota and Honda Headquarters near 190th street, so watch your foot!
