Interstate I-80 East near Exit Number 190
Eastbound after Exit 190 on the right hand side. The highway patrol wait on the east bound ramp where they can’t be seen.
River Road
Any time you are on River Road you are in danger of getting a ticket as the 25 mph is totally unreasonable for the road condition.This road trap is nothing more than revenue for the town.
State Highway 49 near State Route 49
Going towards Sierraville on highway 49 out of Truckee there is a moderate and constant climb for about 2 miles … you suddenly come to a steep hill and your vehicle accelerates quickly … there is a policeman waiting at the bottom of the hill … if you don’t slam on the brakes immediately you will be speeding … this is a really CS trap.
Interstate 80
Per a friend, Truckee CHP is using LIDAR on a MUCH more regular basis. I just got hit with it across from the old Bug Station (going East)! I would be very weary going over the posted unless you have counter-measures!
Interstate Hwy 80 near Agricultural station
Eastbound,(headed toward Reno, Nv.) just before the Ag Station, on the right hand side is an onramp ,, which the highway patrol can sit on and can’t be seen. Some times there are several of them there.
