Foothill Blvd / Tujunga Cyn Pl
LAPD sets on the corner of Tujunga Cyn Pl facing Foothill waiting for vehicles to pass & pulls them over for speeding. The speed changes from 40 to 35. First noticed the officer in July 2011around 12:00 noon. Last week I was waiting for my husband at a near by shop. The officer was there again. I noticed an average of 1 car every 10 minutes being pulled over in a 45 minute period.

Hidden behind fence to on coming east bound traffic

There are two police officers hiding out in the parking lot of the Public Storage, just before you get to the Petsmart shopping area. One stands on the sidewalk with a speed gun and when he catches you speeding, he will step out onto Foothill and direct you into the parking lot area to give you your ticket. The speed limit in that area is 35mph.

Going north past Verdugo Golf Course the road gets windy and speed drops from 35 to 25. Tag team radar cars wait around bend with radars in hand along a wider straightaway pulling over driver after driver.Usually a.m. hours at least 3 to 4 times a week.
Foothill Boulevard near Lowell Avenue
When driving west on Foothill, the legal speed drops from 40 in La Crescenta, to 35 in Tujunga. The cops keep giving tickets mostly on the north side of Foothill, to motorists who don’t slow down.
