Van Nuys, California Speed Traps

On Hayvenhurst if traveling from Saticoy sits in residential area just North of the Industrial Park and points for sure at Southbound traffic. Not sure of Northbound.

A police officer, both motorcycle and a regular black & white, sit south of the entrance to Balboa Park. They stand and hide behind a parked vehicle with their radar gun in hand. When they find their next victim they motion for the motorist to pull over. You can’t see them until it’s too late and by that time they have already clocked your speed. I have seen them with 2 people pulled over at a time so be careful!

*on Balboa Blvd. between Burbank and Victory going northbound…it is South of Balboa Park entrance on the Eastside.

Downslope hill allows motorist to unknowingly speed, motobike police officers carry laser gun to check for speed. They sit at the top and bottom of the hill.

Police Officer on sherman way blvd, points his radar gun at eastbound traffic.
I have seen him on the corner of Amnestoy and Sherman way blvd and Also in front of food for less. Trap is east bound between white oak to havenhurst on sherman way.

Going south bound on the right hand side is a motorcycle cop there everyday..I work near sherman way and go home south toward burbank blvd.. everyday i see him writing tickets just before oxnard after victory
