Ventura, California Speed Traps
Poli Street near California Street
The stop sign at California at Poli is a notorious spot to get nailed for a "California Stop" because the stop sign makes no sense! There’s a stop sign the very front of the courthouse downtown on Poli street that most people don’t SEE. It only affects people going eastbound on Poli toward Foothill. The police like to park in the parking lot adjacent to the new condo complex and watch people blow that stop sign. The ticket is steep…..
Ralston Avenue near Walker Street
Ralston between Johnson Drive to Walker Street Police station. Both bikes and squad car looking for violators. Careful of the bike cop parked in the Pine trees at 5740 Ralston buildings (across from Chicago Title). He’s ambitious.
