About a mile or two before entering the Ojai Valley (Casitas Springs), an officer will frequently be on the right shoulder hiding under the pine trees…he got me once for going 76 mph in 65 zone 🙁
Foothill Road near Seaward Avenue
Motorcycle Cop waits along curb between Brent St. and Seaward Ave. on Foothill Rd. Speed limit is 40 mph and he uses radar gun as you come around curve. I’ve had 2 tickets in the same place!
Foothill Road near ventura high school
motorcycle cops will sit on the big hill on foothill right before Ventura High School. they blend in with all of the cars on the side of the road. mostly after kids going to school, on luch, and/or after school. they wont listin to what you have to say… they only know how to write tickets, not discard them.
Telephone Road near Placid Avenue
Motorcycle cop parks in a church driveway between Kimball Rd. and Montgomery Ave. Also be aware, that although not a speed trap, a motorcycle cop will park between Montgomery Ave. and Clinton Ave. in front of a school bus waiting for those who do not obey the "Stop When Red Lights Flash."
Loma Vista Street near Between Victoria Ave. and Day Rd.
A policeman is frequently waiting on his motorcycle, where the street curves. It is very easy to violate the speed limit on Loma Vista.
