This is a well known speed trap and a Sobriety Check Point on Sat and Sun from 7pm-2am. Directly in front of the Green Tree Golf shop; It is blocked off on Sats and Suns from approx 7pm-2am for a Sobriety Check Point and a speed trap on all days. There are motorcycle cops and standard patrol cars. Also on 7th Street, the signal light changes from Green to Red in less than 60 seconds and you will be flashed by a camera and ticketed!!

Hesperia Road, between Center and Seneca

2 to 3 motorcycle cops. Generally parked in the Mason’s parking lot, nabbing north and south bound traffic. I’ve seen them there the last couple of days.

Corner of Duncan Road and Baldy Mesa Road

Victorville, CaliforniaDec 09, 20100 Comments

A four way stop. The road turns to dirt going west on Duncan. There is no lighting in that area so it is very dark. CHP hides north of Duncan on Baldy Mesa (Mostly at night) and hand out tickets to those who don’t stop long enough.

Mojave Drive in front of the VV High school

Victorville, CaliforniaApr 09, 20100 Comments

The motorcycle cops hide between Verizon and the beauty college. They hide in the trees. They aim their radar guns to nab people coming down the hill from the Del Rey School area. Almost always in the afternoon hour. The speed limit is 25mph during school hours..even if no kids are seen. When school is not in session the speed limit is 40mph.

Between Wild Wash Rd and Outlet Mall Rd

Victorville, CaliforniaApr 01, 20101 Comments

CHP units are frequently observed citing drivers on this stretch of I-15 between Victorville and Barstow. They are especially active at night before midnight. I’ve driven this section of road the last 22 years and the cat and mouse game between the CHP and motorists has not changed. Beware, if you go over 10 mph over the speed limit of 70, your probability of getting a speeding ticket is pretty good.
