Westchester, California Speed Traps

LAPD motorcycle officers stand in the gasoline station at the northwest corner. He uses is Laser device to catch speeders coming S/B on La Tijera. The speed limit is 45, however vehicles constantly drive freeway speeds. The officer simply waves the cars over. By the time you see him, it’s too late!
*This is the same officer that sits in the DWP parking lot at La Tijera and Airport Blvd as previously reported in previous posts.

On La Tijera, a motorcycle officer hides in the driveway at the DWP building driveway right before the corner. He sits or stands using a radar detector. He will actually flag down cars that are speeding. This officer is usually hiding there for three hours from around 11 AM to 2 PM during the week. You cannot see him if you are heading east on La Tijera or driving south or north on Airport.

Cops hide behind Cars in Body Shop waiting for Cars to make illegal “no right turn on red” & also to catch speeders in a hurry to get to LAX.
