Colima Road near Mar Vista Street

Whittier, CaliforniaSep 10, 20070 Comments

Be careful if you are driving West on Colima over the hill from Hacienda Heights into Whittier. There are no stop signs or lights once you are on that hill, many people go very fast and as soon as you get midway on the descending point of the hill there are two inlets on the right hand side where police officers park pretty far up so you can’t see them until you are right in their line of sight, the speed limit drops dramatically at that point, I believe by ten or more mph and many, many people acquire themselves a ticket right there.

Greenleaf Avenue near Whittier Boulevard

Whittier, CaliforniaAug 28, 20070 Comments

Coppers sit and catch the early morning commuters who are rushing to work. Typically, on the southbound direction between Lambert and Mulberry. They caught me with a Laser, and I have seen them pull many people over right there.

Lemon Drive near Scott Avenue

Just west of the stop sign on Lemon and Scott, one unmarked car with Lidar will clock you while one or two more will be on the approaching side streets to pull you over. The natural flow of the street is about 40-45 MPH, but the speed limit is 25 MPH.
