Arapahoe Rd @ Saddle Rock Golf Course

One, sometimes 2 marked cop cars sit here getting traffic from both directions, but usually those going eastbound. There is a rise in the road for people going eastbound, so it is especially hard to see them, but sometimes they will park behind the fence of the maintenance shed so you can’t see them from either direction. I’ve also noticed them here really late at night on weekends, probably trying to catch drunk drivers leaving the clubhouse or pull high schoolers over when coming back from parties. Watch out!

Usually motorcycle officers, parked at entrance to Excelsior Youth Center, monitoring southbound traffic. They can’t be seen behind a small rise from about a quarter mile away, but are quite plain closer than that. Problem is, they’ve already bagged you if you’re more than 10 over the limit at the rise, which is back by the Timbers III apartments.

Unmarked cruiser has clear view of westbound traffic all the way back to Chambers Road signal and beyond. They love this spot on sunny, warm days.

Summertime, and the ticketing’s easy: Officer Friendly has a nice, shady spot to wait for eastbound speeders here. They’re at the ready on motorcycles, most often on sunny, warm weekdays.
