Post in here about Flying W being a speed trap on near Chipeta. What kind of idiot thinks a school zone is a speed trap. Chipeta is an K-5 school and kids walk and ride bikes there AND HAVE TO CROSS FLYING W. It has also been there for over 18 yrs. SLOW DOWN!!!!! If you get a ticket, I hope it is a big one.

Academy Blvd. between Constitution and Platte

I drive this stretch of road regularly… Northbound and Southbound Academy splits just south of Constitution with a strip of stores between the two veines of traffic and, if travelling south, you can usually find a couple motorcycle cops sitting in the driveway of the strip mall just south of LaSalle on the left side, especially in nice weather… also, they like to sit at the mall entrance just south of Galley road on the right… the speed limit changes at Constitution from 40mph to 35mph and the road slopes south for at least a mile before the speed change… so, watch out!!! … on the northbound side I’ve seen cruisers parked, usually in pairs, either in the bank parking lot on the right just passed Palmer Park Rd. or behind the fire station on the right of the same intersection… usually only at night… this stretch is uphill in this direction but there are speed limit changes here also, and strange traffic patterns, so watch out here as well… safe motoring, all!

Powers Blvd. and Dublin

Cop parked in the median just after you cross over Woodman road. He was parked underneath the streetlight that was off with no visable lights on. Pretty much sitting in the shadows.
