Fort Collins, Colorado Speed Traps

The speed limit is 35 but if you are going north-bound there is a slope and you are likely to go at 45. I live in the corner of Centre and Prospect and I see people getting tickets virtually everyday. Police patrol usually hides in a service road behind the Holliday Inn or on a small street parallel to Prospect called Bay St.

White van sits on Southbound side of road by a wooden fence, and has photo radar.

Unmarked car, silver or white, will occasionally set up at the intersection of Ticonderoga and Lemay, at the pedestrian stop light. He’s always on the west side of Lemay gunning southbound drivers. When travelling southbound, the first bend in Lemay after Horsetooth blocks the view of the officer until it is too late to react. Watch your speed coming around this bend.

Officer, usually unmarked, sits in the driveway to a City garage at the south end of the Collindale Golf Course driving range. This is on the east side of Lemay. Most common at the end of the month. I have also seen a tan photo van on the sidewalk just south of this location.

A police car is hidden in the bushes by the loading door. They monitor the stop sign and excessive speeds on Mason.
