S. Lemey Avenue near Fossil Creek Park Entrance

Fort Collins, ColoradoOct 26, 20070 Comments

When heading south from Harmony there is a half mile downhill grade leveling out near the entrance to the Fossil Creek Park. Officers will park at the entrance of the park using its foliage and signs for cover. The posted speed limit is 40 mph but because of the grade it’s very easy to exceed that without touching the accelerator. The officer at the entrance will "shoot" radar with another officer (usually motorcycle unit) pulling over speeders.
