Same brown SUV as seen on Stuart. Photo/radar just north of Monroe, either direction, next to Boltz Jr., High. Parts of Stover are posted at an unreasonable 25mph.

Lemay Avenue near Monticello Court

Brown SUV parks up on the sidewalk. North bound Lemay from Harmony as you come around the curve. You don’t see him until the last second. Lemay has some nice curves right there and are especially fun on a motorcycle.

Photo radar setup on east side of Lemay Ave in the S curves monitoring North bound traffic. Speed limit drops from 35 to 30 through the curves. They do have to post a sign prior to the photo radar and the sign is usually just as you exit the first curve, if you see the sign you have time to slow down. Photo radar setup is between first and second curve.

Police have a number of locations to choose from. They can see you before you can see them. Speed limit posted is much slower than prevailing traffic.

Stover Street near Boltz Drive

Fort Collins, ColoradoMay 24, 20070 Comments

A brown mini-van parks on the east side of the street in front of the fields by Boltz Junior High School. It takes photo-tickets of any speeding vehicle north-bound on Stover St. Posted speed limit is 25MPH. Very easy to coast up to 30-40 due to an unnoticable down-grade.
