White or Brown photo van will park on the 600 block of East Stuart across from the park and take pictures of any westbound vehicles. Speed limit is 30 but the size of the road makes it easy to assume 40+
Prospect Street near Riverside
Prospect is a main artery that suddenly becomes a "school zone" between Riverside and Lemay. The officer is parked on a side street hitting everyone with radar.
Horsetooth Street near Horsetooth and Ziegler Streets Crossing
Policeman sits on the dirt road at the very East end of Horsetooth (at the intersection with Ziegler). He has a clear shot of people coming down (E) Horsetooth, as well as people heading North on Ziegler (both 40mph).
Laurel Street near CSU campus
White or brown photo van parked on either westbound or eastbound lanes, typically very close behind other parked cars and difficult to see until it’s too late. Will be parked along street any time of day parking is allowed, so basically daylight hours.
Swallow Street near Meridian Street
White or brown photo van parked on either westbound or eastbound lanes, typically very close behind other parked cars and difficult to see until it’s too late. Will be parked along street any time of day parking is allowed, so basically daylight hours. I’ve also seen cops hiding behind bushes or parked a little ways back on the streets before Meridian.
