S. Quebec St and E. Belleview Ave

Greenwood Village, ColoradoOct 15, 20210 Comments

Greenwood Village has predatory revenue cameras at this intersection. I am a professional driver and I have seen these yellow lights get shorter during the last three years. I have seen many, many more drivers getting photographed at this intersection since the demands started to defund police departments across the nation. I guess that Greenwood Village hasn’t figured out that stealing the money of citizens does not engender their support or approval. Citizens can sue the city for timing the yellow lights too short, right? Isn’t a traffic camera in violation of our 6th amendment right to face our accuser? Beware: Greenwood Village needs money and they will happily take yours!

Intersection of S. Quebec St. and E. Belleview Ave.

This intersection is filled with cameras and a few seconds have been shaved off of the yellow lights to make red lights appear faster. While not an actual “speed” trap, it *IS* a trap and an immoral & unethical revenue generator. I guess that Greenwood Village cops need the extra money to make up for defunding.

Photo Radar Van sits parked on the side of the street (East Princeton Ave) in front of Eastmoor park and flashes cars as they drive on a series of curves in the road . Anyone going over 35 will get a photo radar ticket for speeding with a $40 fine in the mail.

sometimes this van has actually parked up on the grass of the Eastmoor Park its an eye sore

van is white and unmarked, there will be no signs( which is required), usually there in the late evenings 5 pm to 7 pm.

Peoria and Cherry Creek Drive

Greenwood Village police park on Cherry Creek Drive and ticket people who don’t come to a full and complete stop at the 3-way stop at the round-about.

before University Blvd. on Belleview and after University Blvd.

Cops hide on the corners of the side streets, they do not place their laser speed traps on and claim you can be going fast. They hide right before University Blvd. and after University Blvd. before and after the hill on Belleview. Be aware!
