Car or motorcycle on side streets with plenty of chase cars and motorcycles. Often used for training new traffic officers or police academy trainees.
Florida Avenue near Pierson Street
Eastbound Florida coming down the hill between Union & Kipling. Trap 1: Squad car sits on Pierson Street (south) which cannot be seen until you’ve driven past it. Trap 2: Approaching Kipling, squad car sits in dental parking lot (north).
6th Frontage Avenue near Garrison Street
There is a cop with a laser gun trying to catch speeders who just exit the highway
Kipling Parkway near Florida Avenue
A cop car will sit in the median and nail Northbound speeders after coming around a simi-blind corner. They trap speeders there more often around the end of the month.
frontage road, between indiana and union
the cops usually wait on the cross roads to the frontage road. The speed limit towards Indiana is 35. They also wait when going east right on top of the hill after you pass the community college. I’ve seen they there before but yesterday there was 5 cops car waiting in a side street and the cop with the radar was on the sidewalk looking like a pedestrian but pointing his radar to everybody comming up the hill.
