Las Animas, Colorado Speed Traps

They leave a patrol car at one end or another. One will be in parking lot west of football field. The other will be on side of road near the sugar factory. No one is in the cars most of the time. But then, unexpectedly, they do add a person and you will be cited. Also, through town where speed limit is 25 mph, please go that speed. You will be ticketed if just a couple of miles over speed limit. More so in spring, summer and fall. They also hide out at the Western store and the Napa store.
