Lochbuie Police sits at the bottom of the hill on the east side of I-76 stopping WB traffic. The speed limit goes from 55 mph to 35 mph. They will stop anyone 3 mph or over. The fines are extensive. Lochbuie also sits and watches EB traffic coming over the I-76 bridge.
On WCR2 between I-76 and Hwy 85
Lochbuie police often park behind large signs about a mile west of Hwy 76. Speed limit is 45 mph on that stretch of road. Tickets are given even if you are traveling 3 mph over the speed limit.

Local Law Enforcement sets in the Emergency vehicle turnaround with lights off right behind the bridge pilar for the overpass. Usually between 11PM and 4AM on most nights of the week. It has been common knowledge in the area that this town can not support the funds needed for their force and Radar Traps are needed to fund these units.
