Loveland, Colorado Speed Traps
Interstate I25 North near Mile Marker 259
Construction zone. Location I provided not exact but Saturday March 29th four Colorado State Troopers were working the scene.
Cleveland & Lincoln Avenue near East Eisenhower Boulevard
Officer’s sit in either there unmaked cars or motorcycles between 10th St. to 12th St. on Lincoln or between 12th St.to 8th St. on Cleveland. The speed limit is 30 MPH. Most of the time they are south of East Eisenhower Blvd. They mainly sit on the west side of the road on Lincoln and on the east side of the road on Cleveland.
West 1st St. Street near Taft Avenue
Two motorcycle officers sit on the south side of the road, on the bike path, just to the west of the bridge under trees. The road turns from two lanes to one and the speed limit is 35 M.P.H.
Goldenrod Street near Wison Avenue
LPD wait for morning commuters. Be VERY watchful, they are pulling people over for as little as 5 miles over the limit.
County Trunk 9 near US Highway 402
Here the officers park in the parking lot just South of the two ponds. They stand at the bridge and clock you without you even seeing them. The hard thing about this road is that you are changing from a 40 mph to a 35 mph on a straight and visable road or you’re coming off of Hwy 402, where the speed limit is 55 mph. They’ve got me twice and I still want to go over 40.
