Avon, Connecticut Speed Traps

Traveling West on Country Club Road you will eventually come to a big downhill – police love to sit at the bottom of this hill with radar.

Heading South on old farms rd from Rt 44 police usually are seen on right in large driveway but are about 1 mile farther down also

Approximately 1/2 mile north of Rt. 44, they have been seen to operate going both north and south. This area is just south of the Pickin’ Patch farm.

Across from the Golf Club of Avon, along Country Club Road.

The Avon police sit on the bottom of Avon hill panning the area with Laser rader from the hotel parking lot on the opposite side of the road. The trap is on the Avon side when heading west on 44 just at the base of the hill. The speed limit is 40MPH but just coasting you’ll do over 65 on the hill so be careful.
