Abbe Road near Broadbrook Road

Enfield, ConnecticutJun 16, 20060 Comments

the trap on abbe is easy to spot if you are turning onto abbe, but the cop can see you too. its easy to take the turn onto abbe at 45, but the speedlimit is 30. Eastbound traffic is almost always busted, because the cop is blocked from view by tall bushes. The cops at night sit there w/o any lighs on, so watch out.

Taylor Road near Package Store

A town cop hides behind a bush in this 30 mph zone. Won’t see him until you see a cop with his lights on in your rear view mirror.

State Route 190 near Hazardville Motors

Enfield, ConnecticutJun 15, 20060 Comments

Town police will hide out in the "alley way" between Hazardville motors and the Hazard Hotel. Hiding during the AM and PM rushours, the nab atleast 2 cars a day. Speed limit is 35, but traffic flow is around 40. Also, this trap is just past an intersection, perfect to catch sppeeders running lights, so go slow and stop at a yellow to play it safe

State Route 190 near St. Bernard’s Church

Enfield, ConnecticutJun 15, 20060 Comments

Right infront of the church (which has a preschool in the rear) town officer will park all the way in the back of the kelly fradet lumber mart parking lot with only his running lights on. Speed limit is 25, but that is down from 35. Have only seen one vehicle pulled over, but this is a nightly trap. your best bet is to slow to 25 at park street for west bound traffic, and infront of the hazardville firehouse for eastbound traffic, which is at a dis advatage because the trap is on top of a hill
